Who We Are

Constituted in September 2023, our Residents Group gives every household in Bertha Park a voice. We hold bi-monthly meetings, organise community events, and represent residents' interests to Perth & Kinross Council and Springfield Properties. Our committee of 11 volunteers — four office bearers and seven members — is elected annually at our AGM.

We are funded through the Bertha Park Developers Fund, which is administered by Perth & Kinross Council and provided by Springfield Properties as part of the development agreement.

"A great community with strong collaboration, environmentally focused, and supportive — everyone's contributions are valued, and success is shared rather than individualised."
— Community Vision Statement

The Hub

The Hub at 15 Adamson Avenue (opposite the High School) is the heart of our community. Supervised by Craigie & Moncrieffe Church of Scotland (SC01330), who invested a six-figure sum in improving the facility, The Hub hosts a full programme of weekly activities — from preschool groups and youth clubs to exercise classes and lunch clubs.

The Hub is available for community hire at £20 per hour. To enquire about booking, please contact [email protected].

About the Development

Bertha Park is a master-planned community being developed by Springfield Properties Ltd. When complete, it will include over 3,000 homes built over a 30-year period. The development features modern, energy-efficient housing alongside green spaces, walking trails, and community amenities.

New Primary School

A new primary school and nursery is confirmed in the Perth & Kinross Council capital budget, scheduled to open in August 2028.

Growing Community

With 600+ households and counting, Bertha Park continues to grow. Kingdom Housing Association recently completed 188 new homes including 160 social rent properties.

Natural Setting

Surrounded by Bertha Loch, woodland trails, and green spaces, our community enjoys a beautiful natural setting just minutes from Perth city centre.

Get Involved

Whether you're new to Bertha Park or have been here from the start, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Attend a residents meeting, join one of The Hub's weekly activities, or simply say hello to your neighbours. If you'd like to make a bigger contribution, consider joining the committee.
