At our most recent residents meeting, we were joined by the local community policing team from Police Scotland who provided valuable advice on keeping our neighbourhood safe.

Key Advice

  • Lock your vehicles: Even in our quiet community, opportunistic theft can occur. Always lock car doors and remove valuables from view.
  • Report suspicious activity: If you see anything unusual, report it via 101 (non-emergency) or 999 for emergencies.
  • Home security: Ensure doors and windows are locked, especially at night. Consider timer switches for lights if you're away.
  • Community awareness: Look out for your neighbours, especially elderly or vulnerable residents.

The community policing team visits Bertha Park regularly and can be contacted through the Perth police station. We'll continue to invite them to our meetings throughout the year.

If you have specific concerns about community safety, please get in touch with the committee or raise them at the next meeting.
